About

Specializing in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Dance Team

I have been in love with the art of dance since I first saw the Nutcracker Ballet at the age of four and I have been dancing ever since. With eight years of teaching experience, my favorite part of teaching is watching students grow not only as individuals but also as dancers. I focus on executing proper technique and terminology; all while encouraging students to find their inner passion for dance. My classes are challenging yet fun while maintaining a positive atmosphere.IMG_7745I have studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop and African at various studios near Milwaukee. Through high school, at Pius XI, I attended technique and performance courses. I also performed for the dance team as a captain. Upon graduation, I performed for the Milwaukee Bucks as an Energee Dancer.  After having spent a year as an Energee Dancer I decided to pursue degrees in Marketing and Dance. I will be graduating with a BFA in Contemporary Dance in Spring of 2014 and I currently have a Marketing Degree. While holding a scholarship in dance, I have performed in faculty and guest artist pieces. I’m excited to be a dance performing intern with Oni Dance and Wild Space Dance Company. I have experience teaching in the surrounding area dance studios and high schools. While my background stems from studio training, I also studied dance at Pius XI High School while also being on the dance team. I have performed in Summerdances 2010 and Winterdances 2011 for Elizabeth Johnson’s pieces “I Wanna Know What You’re thinking” and “Ball-Ad.” In 2013 I performed in a Milwaukee site specific piece for award winning choreographer Stephen Koplowitz.
